Sewing Workshop

Our "Intro to Sewing" crash course is a 4 hour class that provides students with sewing machine operational skills, multiple stitch techniques and proper Fabric and material selections for overall projects.

By the end of the workshop, our students will leave with a small personal project to take home as well as discounts and personal student priority to future sold out master classes of their choosing.

What You'll Learn

Introduction to Sewing

The workshop will begin with an introduction to sewing machines, including how to thread the machine and wind a bobbin, as well as a brief overview of the different types of stitches.

Basic sewing techniques

Students will learn basic sewing techniques, such as how to sew a straight line, how to backstitch, and how to pivot corners, through guided practice exercises.

Sewing project

Students will select a simple sewing project, such as a drawstring bag or a pillow cover, to complete during the workshop using the techniques they have learned.

Finishing techniques

Instructors will guide students in the proper techniques for finishing their project, which may include turning it right side out, pressing seams, and adding any final touches.

The instructors of our Beginner Sewing Workshop are experienced and knowledgeable in the art of sewing. They are passionate about teaching and have a patient and supportive teaching style, making them great for beginners.
