What You'll Learn

Intro + Design

Students will learn about the history and style of varsity jackets, select their fabrics, and create a pattern for their jacket.

Cutting+ Sewing Techniques

Instructors will guide students in the proper techniques for cutting and sewing their jacket, including how to use a serger machine and sew a lining.

Embellishments + Finishing

Students will add any desired embellishments, such as patches and embroidery, before finishing their jacket with ribbed cuffs, collar, and waistband.

Final Touches

Instructors will guide students in the proper techniques for finishing their jacket, which may include pressing seams and attaching snaps or buttons.
